Just Asking....

Welcome to the debut of a new Extra Point Show feature, "Just Asking." We'll throw out a bundle of questions and give you the chance to post your thoughts in the comments section. Then, we'll use your responses, along with our own thoughts, to tackle these thought-provoking sports queries on the next show. So, here we go...

Just asking, but.....

Where will Peyton Manning land if/when he is released by the Colts...the Fins, the Skins, the Cards, or another QB needy team?

With 2 rings, is Eli already a shoe-in for the Hall of Fame?

Rob Gronkowski was spotted dancing shirtless after his Pats fell in the Super Bowl. Do you have a problem with it?

Can Duke even think about making a run in the tourney by relying so heavily on the 3-point shot?

Josh Hamilton recently fell off the wagon. Can he climb back on or is this a sign of things to come?

Larry Legend was quoted as saying that he would rather play with Kobe than Lebron. Is #33 a hater of King James? Or is he speaking the truth?

Pitchers and catchers report at the end of this month. Is it only me that gets excited by that utterance?

Have at it, XPS nation!

  1. i like the idea guys. definitely do it again.

#1--don't know, but it definitely won't be Indy. dan snyder is stupid enough to pay him a ton of money, so maybe DC
#2--he should be, but for some reason i still don't think of him as an elite (HOF) QB..is it just me?
#3--i have no problem with them going to a party, but the crazy "Elainesque" dancing was a little much
#4--no. if they have one bad game from the 3 point line, they are done
#5--i hope he can climb back on, but this one slip worries me. i saw they hired a person to be with him all the time, so maybe that will help
#6--just speaking the truth. until "the king" wins a championship, he will always be 2nd to kobe
#7--no, you are not the only one. i love that statement and it takes me back to my playing days in high school

  2. Where ever Peyton lands (hint: Jerry has been real quite)they will be a contender. He is a competetor and his pride has been hurt. He will be comming out swinging. Plus he is the older brother and will always rule the sandbox...I would love to be at that Sunday dinner table.

Now I am no Giant fan, but give Eli the credit that he deserves. If his career ended today Archie would be introducing him in Canton. He probably will never get the elite tag because of his style of play. Its not pretty but its real effective.

Gronkowski is an idiot. Dude played the pity card all week leading up to the SB, then has a off game. They lose and he goes out dancing? You play the game to win a championships. Yes he did have a good season, which has now been over shadowed by his dancing. What a message it would have sent if he was at the gym getting ready for the season.

OMG! Can anyone else fit on the Dukie bandwaggon. They will get a number one seed in some easy bracket. Lets all pray they lose early.

Feel bad for my man JP. Its a nasty addiction. I fear that this is only the beginning. He needs help

Larry speaks the truth. Lebron has serious talent and is a great player. He is also a choke artist. The guy takes nights off and cannot close if his life depends on it. I was a casual fan of his game until he took his talent to Miami. He deserted a team and city because he was simple AFRAID. He can't hold Kobe's shorts at this point and maybe never. Kobe finds a way night in and night out. Next time you watch a game and see the Lakers lose watch Kobe's reaction on the bench. He aint smiling or tweeting.

Its Feb give it a rest on the baseball commentary. Its time for March Madness.
